Certain military bases and overseas embassies were put on high alert.

The Defense Language Institute in Monterey was put on alert prior to the attacks, as well as some overseas embassies and military bases. This is not definitive evidence, as there are other reasons for going on alert, but one has to question why the public was not warned.

A pentagon translation of a Bin Laden homevideo states, that Bin Laden claimed, he followed the first crash live on an unknown radio station, which is impossible. No radio station was able to report this live, because of no prior knowledge. They started immediately to report after the crash and broadcasted the second crash like many other TV Stations worldwide.

Devout Muslims who would be willing to sacrifice themselves for their cause do not frequent bars and do not ever drink alchoholic beverages.

A devout Muslim would not take a copy of his holy book the Quran to a bar and leave it behind when he left after spending an evening drinking, participating in lapdances, and bragging about pending bloodshed to take place the following day.

Men who have been so careful during 5 years of planning, training, and careful preparations that never allowed even one leak do not brag the night before their mission that they are going to cause violence and bloodshed the following day, using credit cards with their correct names, allowing drivers licenses with photos to be xeroxed, nor do they spread incriminating evidence around like popcorn?

A devout Muslim on the way to his death would not leave his holy Quran in a parked car.
He would take it with him.

More questions, still without an official answer until today:

Why did the hi-jackers force passengers to call relatives and why in only one plane- the same and only plane who "crashed down"?

Why were the hijackers able to deviate from the flight plan and crash into their targets without any effort from law enforcement or the military to stop them?

Within an hour of the attacks the FBI knew the names, addresses, flight schools they had attended, the aquaintences of the suspects, and had begun a nationwide roundup.
How is that?

Why did none of the passengers of the Pennsylvannia flight identify the hijackers as arabs?
"..Horrified air traffic controllers could hear the conversation after the pilot flicked a switch on his radio but were powerless to do anything", one of them told the Christian Science Monitor newspaper in the US.

"The person in the cockpit was speaking in English. He was saying something like,
`Don't do anything foolish. You're not going to get hurt', he said."
We have been told that seven cell phone calls were made from the planes.
Not ONE of the callers described the hijackers as Arabic, Saudi, Muslin, Iranian or anyone from the Middle East. Barbara Olson, writer, author, investigative reporter, famous commentator, attorney, and wife of the Solicitor General of the United States also made one phone call and didn't mention it."

How could the FBI distinguish between "regular" Muslims and hijacker Muslims on those flights?

Did they just go through the passenger lists culling out the Muslim-sounding names and labeling the people bearing those names as hijackers?
(Note: No other middle east sounding last name was on the passenger lists)

First rumours about a lost bag of Atta makes sceptics wonder (Questions partly collected):

Why did Mohammad Atta put a video "how to fly planes",
an uniform and his last will into his bag, knowing that he will commit suicide anyway?

Why was this bag not destroyed on the plane, but found later still at the airport?

Why did Mohammad Atta left his drivers license in a rental car?

Why did no other passenger on the other planes try to hit the hijackers,
'armed' only with box-cutters?

Why all commercial pilots would give up his plane under threat from ANYONE with a boxcutter?

Why no Black Box had been found at all 3 crash centers?

Why didn't the FBI release the air traffic controllers protocols?

Why did Air Traffic Controllers in a Nashua Telegraph article report an F-16 was circling Flight 93 and was in visual range at the time of crash - and why does the Government currently DENY that?

How did metal scraps, clothing and garbage bags full other debris gathered by residents and turned over to the FBI float on the breeze from a 35 foot deep muddy hole through wet, muddy fields for between 2.5 and 8 miles in 9 knot(10.4 mph) winds as the NTSB has declared?
Why hasn't this happened in any other airline crashes that did not have mid-air traumas?

What was the explosion and white smoke that the first cell phone caller reported?
And the explosion a 911 dispatcher heard shortly after talking to a passenger right before the line went dead? Ground witnesses report hearing several explosions.

What was the mysterious white jet trailing Flight 93 before the crash,
and witnessed by so many just after the crash?

What about a lot of "similar" anonymous emails on the web?

was to bring these buildings down, they could have done that over the weekend

his hands making the video, which captured and recorded the incident of the
first plane hitting the tower?

One of bin Laden's brothers set up scholarship funds at Harvard, while another relative owns six condominiums in an expensive complex in the Charlestown section of Boston.
Two bin Laden associates once worked as Boston cab drivers, including one who was jailed in Jordan on charges of plotting to blow up a hotel full of Americans and Israelis.
In 1994, one of his brothers, Sheik Bakr Mohammed bin Laden, made a large donation to Harvard Law School to fund visiting scholars to do research in Islamic legal studies.
Another relative, Mohammed M. bin Laden, owns six condominiums in the ritzy Flagship Wharf condominium complex in Charlestown.
A niece of Bin Laden lived in New York in Soho, but left NYC weeks before the attack for a trip to Switzerland-and never came back.

He was also questioned about his contacts with Abdullah bin Laden at the US WAMY office.

Mr Al-Hazmi said that he had made phone calls to Abdullah bin Laden in 1999 trying to obtain books and videotapes about Islamic teachings for the Islamic Centre of San Antonio..."
